Combination Orders
    $500 of Bisque, Paints, Glaze, Gallons, 5-Gallon Pails; excludes classes and production equipment such as kilns, slab rollers, wheels, slip, clay over 50 lbs., molds, or racks.

Clay Orders

     Shipping clay within a 60 mile radius of Chesapeake Ceramics
        - $30 flat shipping rate within the Baltimore Beltway
        - $30 plus an additional $1 for each mile outside the Baltimore Beltway within a 60 mile radius of
          Chesapeake Ceramics.
     Shipping clay further than 60 miles from Chesapeake Ceramics OR outside of our truck route.
         As we all know, clay is very heavy! Therefore, shipping clay can be costly. For this reason a shipping
         surcharge of $15.00 per 50 pound box of clay will be added to all orders that include clay. This surcharge
         may be waived for freight free orders in excess of $500 with fewer than four boxes of clay.
     Shipping large amounts of clay
          If ordering large amounts of clay (15 boxes or more), please call to discuss shipping options.
 
Payment
• FedEx Shipments: Purchase Order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, prepayment by check, or COD (extra fees).
• Motor Freight Shipments: Purchase Order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or prepayment only.

Shipping Method
Orders will be delivered by the most cost-effective means available. Smaller orders are normally shipped via FedEx, and larger orders via motor freight. Freight-free covers normal delivery charges, which for freight orders includes bringing the order to the tailgate of the truck (unless other arrangements have been made that may require a fee). Customers are responsible for fees incurred as a result of additional services requested, such as inside delivery, lift-gate and COD. If a customer requests FedEx delivery when freight is the less expensive option, the customer is responsible for the additional cost of the selected shipping method. We encourage our customers to accept curbside motor freight carrier shipments because they result in substantially less breakage
than FedEx shipments, as well as substantial savings on shipping charges when placing larger orders.

Minimum order on Free Freight Shipments must come from available stock. If we are out of stock on any of your selected items, please choose additional products to reach your minimum. We do not pay shipping on back orders.

Pricing
Bisque is sold by the case. Glaze and color products are sold by the individual container. All case packs and prices are subject to change without notice.

Damages
FedEx: Goods are packaged to arrive in good condition. If you detect obvious damage upon arrival, such as severely smashed boxes, please photograph the shipment and give us a call. Please open your boxes and inspect your shipment within 72 hours of its arrival. If there is any damage, we will issue a credit to your account. Your packing list will be attached to the outside of one of your boxes in a plastic sleeve.

Motor Freight: Boxes are stacked and shrink wrapped on pallets for one step handling. If you detect any obvious damage upon arrival, such as severely smashed boxes, note that directly on the delivery ticket before signing it. Contact the carrier and tell them you want to file a claim, then give us a call. The carrier's phone number is on your delivery receipt.

Shortages
Each order is double checked for accuracy. Please check your order carefully against your packing list, located on the side of one of your boxes. Report any discrepancies within 72 hours of receipt.

Returns
You must contact us for a return merchandise authorization number prior to returning any goods. There is a 25% restocking fee for any returns. Return shipping charges must be customer prepaid.
